Voting MemberAny person who holds an appointed position as the chief law enforcement officer of a state, municipal, tribal, college, or university entity in Arizona with authority to enforce state law, provided they are AZPOST-certified peace officers. Voting membership may also be granted to an Active Member by petitioning the Board. One Voting Member is allowed per agency. Voting Members may hold office and serve on committees within the Association. Important Instructions for Large AgenciesThe chief is the primary member and must register and pay first before adding any additional Active Members under the department’s blanket membership.
